Molson Coors (NYSE:TAP) is expected to report Q2 earnings before the open on Tuesday, August 7, with a conference call scheduled for 11:00 am ET.
Analysts are looking for a profit of $1.19 on revenue of $934.78M. The consensus range is $1.14-$1.23 for EPS and $885.41M-$959.11M for revenue, according to First Call. During June, Molson Coors completed its acquisition of StarBev, which operates nine breweries in Central and Eastern Europe. The company previously said it expects the purchase to be accretive to earnings in the first full year. Investors will be listening for more commentary on the new assets as well as potentially updated guidance following the closing. Molson Coors may also comment on other consolidation in the industry, as Heineken (HINKY) recently announced an agreement to purchase Fraser and Neave's interests in Asia Pacific Breweries and Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE:BUD) reached a deal in late June to acquire the remaining stake in Grupo Modelo (OTCPK:GPMCF) that it does not already own for $20.1B.
