One quick footnote: Reviewers tend to respond to a product on its own terms, and that's what has happened with Google Finance (1, 2, 3). But the real story here is that as more and more people access financial information by typing a stock ticker into a search engine, Google should have focused on its financial search results, and in particular the "one box" it delivers in response to a ticker search. How bizzarre that instead Google chose to build a finance portal to compete with Yahoo.
