CNET (CNET) has a good story on the sleek native EBAY (EBAY) Marketplaces application coming to the new 3G iPhone to be released next month. CNET claims "the native app has the potential to store more information while offline as well as take advantage of the iPhone's hardware like the built-in digital camera for taking pictures of items without using a separate device and photo-hosting service."
EBAY Marketplaces therefore joins EBAY's Skype, which actually already has a native iPhone application though Fring. Of course, because iPhone blocks background processes, don't expect a full featured version of Skype anytime soon.

Jun 11 05:28 PMIf you can run Safari, which the OLD one did just fine, you got EBAY already.
I don't see the Ebay thing as anything more than a niche for the junkies that love to sell and buy used baseball cards.
What do you need a DEDICATED app, to do what you can do today, that works fine, and adds really nothing to the process?
