Cramer's Lightning Round - It Is Time For More Wells Fargo (8/16/12)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday August 16.

Bullish Calls:

Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC): "It is time for more Wells Fargo."

Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation (MHR): "It is a great spec on oil...oil has to go to $110 before it kicks in, but that is a great spec."

American Capital Agency (NASDAQ:ACAS): "A winner. That yield is good. I like it. ACAS has done a very good job."

Liquidity Services (NASDAQ:LQDT): "I think it has what it takes. I like the surplus model. I would dip my toe in right here."

Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL): "I'm not going to go against Oracle going into a time that is seasonally strong. I think it's a buy."

Ellington Financial (NYSE:EFC): "I think it is a fine residential mortgage REIT play, and it may work here as a trade. People are selling high yielders that are not growing their yields a lot, and you could be sensitive to that."

Westar (NYSE:WR): "That is a great company misunderstood by everybody. It has good yield safety. People don't like safety right now, but safety never goes on vacation."

Bearish Calls:

First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR): "Come on, man. That was the first quarter you could sell off of. I don't want to buy it, I want to sell it."

Roundy's Supermarkets (NYSE:RNDY): "Very disappointing. I'm not happy with that. We are going to go back and revisit that when we devote a show solely to self-flagellation."
