Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Friday June 13.
Bullish calls:
US Bancorp (USB): "USB is an even better situation of all of them, with the possible exception of Wells Fargo, and I want to pull the trigger and buy USB for an oversold trading rally. I think it's the best one."
Sociedad Quimica (SQM): "It's got the right kind of stuff that goes into batteries. It's got lithium... They also have fertilizer, so is a win, and I want to buy some right here."
Agnico-Eagle Mines (AEM): "I would take Agnico-Eagle (AEM) as a better holding, because I think it's got faster growth."
Yamana Gold (AUY): "At $14, I want to pull the trigger multiple times... buy, buy, buy!... Triple buy!..."
Otter Tail (OTTR): "OTTR has got that DMI Division that does wind power. You don't want to get rid of that, have some horse sense. OTTR, even at $39 is a buy."
Northrop Grumman (NOC): "I want to buy NOC. It's a cheap stock, it's a well-run company."
EMC (EMC): "It is unbelievably, poorly-acting…So, why do I stick by it?...Because in six months, it can start selling VMWare….I still want to buy it...But it is very frustrating."
AK Steel Holding (AKS), Reliance Steel (RS), United States Steel (X)
Nucor (NUE): "And finally, the cheapest of all is Nucor…I want to own NUE."
Bearish calls:
Barrick Gold (ABX)
Winnebago Industries (WGO): "It just uses too much gasoline...I can't go there."
Corn Products International (CPO): " …no, no ring the register...sell, sell, sell...It's at $40 bucks...you should take your profit...I don't want to touch it."
Starwood Hotels & Resorts (HOT): "We're not in the hotel game with oil trading up with gasoline at $5 bucks...we're getting out of that game."
