Recently, I found 3 small caps that significantly outperformed analyst's earnings estimates. These stocks also provide high dividend yields at or above 10%. All three stocks have a consensus buy or strong buy rating. Here are 3 small cap high dividend yield stocks to consider for your portfolio.

LRR Energy (NYSE:LRE) is a Delaware limited partnership formed in April 2011 by affiliates of Lime Rock Resources to operate, acquire, exploit and develop producing oil and natural gas properties in North America. LRR Energy reported earnings of $0.54 per share, $0.24 or 66% better than the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of $0.30.
