    Uh-oh.

I can think of 2 things to sell here - call options, and parachutes.

Try to dry DOW in gold and see what do you get.

What is your point? Is it that the Dow is priced in inflated dollars, or that the Euro is priced excessively high relative to dollars? I think you want to point out the monetary policy of the US has been profligate. So what? It does not matter, just ask Ben. You and I are living in the bubble and we should not notice what is outside. That is utter nonsense of course, but it goes for Fed policy. That is what you need to discuss: what got us in this situation?

I'm not convinced. Can you chart the value of the Dow in corn flakes? That certainly provides a better valuation metric for the Dow because corn flakes, as you well know, are yummy! :)

Go to Europe. Room food car rental etc. No DOW required. Make sure you have enough US $'s to return.
Sure would like to see DOW value in "cornflakes". Maybe just the price of "corn" would do.

Like ALL of your comments. Talking different languages, yesterday, I spent some time on the forum of wat is supposed to be a prominent belgian financial newspaper. A horror! Having said this, be aware that most European Stock market indexes show similar distribution & double top formation as the US one do when expressed in Dollar. Last week, the financials took the same bloodbath the american financials took a couple of months ago. We now have the proof that the EU has been importing 'american' cornflakes. If you decide to buy Euros, stay away of the local stock markets!

Sorry, I can't help but be a chartist here. We are almost at a previous low...do we bounce or do we sink? I have to think there is at lest a tradeable bounce somewhere around here. That plus the 5 wave down action.....
