Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Monday, July 28.
Potash (POT) -- “If you own fertilizer you must own Potash. I believe the ethanol mandate will eventually be repealed. Potash will continue to do well but not everyone will.”
PharMerica (PMC) “I like them better than Brookdale Senior Living (BKD) or Sunrise Senior Living (SRZ). They provide drugs to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is a great way to play a slowing economy.”
Donaldson Company (DCI) -- “They keep reporting great numbers quarter after quarter. The stock is good; the market is bad. Buy, Buy, Buy.”
Thompson Creek (TC) -- “This is a specialty metals play. Molybdenum is in short supply. You have to take a longer view, people have given up on them short term."
Mechel Steel (MTL) -- “Putin basically wrecked it. He took the market away. It made me regret even looking at Russia. I would not sell now. He has to reverse this.”
Time Warner (TWX) -- “I think Verizon's (VZ) FiOS is going to beat up Time Warner. I feel bad for the guy running it. I don't want to own Time Warner."
