In the past quarter, the company was downgraded at RBC Capital and at UBS. UBS downgraded the company to Neutral from Buy on June 6, citing valuation for the downgrade. The company was downgraded Sector Perform from Outperform at RBC Capital based on valuation, on June 4.

However on July 3 RBC Capital upgraded American Tower, back to Outperform from Sector Perform, citing recent weakness in the tower sector group and a continued favorable outlook.

Investors will be interested to see if the company's outlook remains favorable after it reports its Q2 results.
