WebSideStory, which provides hosted Web analytics, announced that it expects Q4 revenue of $6.4 million to $6.5 million, versus previous guidance of $6.2 to $6.3 million. So its growth in subscription revenues will now be 47% year over year and 14% sequentially. The company also raised guidance for 2005.
e-commerce is growing rapidly as offline
retailers get online; and everyone who's serious needs analytics. What
a great space to be in right now.
Trend: Hosted solutions are easier to manage, easier to pay
for, easier to use. Despite Salesforce.com's recent disappointment,
pure "on-demand" solutions are spreading. For example, I see firsthand
from my positon as a board member and stock holder that privately-owned
CyberU, which provides hosted online training, evaluation and HR management, is rapidly adding customers.
