Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Tuesday, August 12.
Bullish Calls:
Coca Cola (KO) -- “I am bullish on Coke. They reported a strong quarter and have costs under control.”
Apple (AAPL) -- “Apple is a buy. Apple is known for its wild price swings so I don’t want people to buy an entire position at once. Buy small increments as the price declines.”
Transocean (RIG) -- “Oil and gas have come down enough that Transocean can be bought.”
Linn Energy (LINE) -- “I am bullish on natural gas stocks right now. This stock is a great value.”
Cal-Maine Foods (CALM) -- “I like the fundamentals. I likes the stock but I urge caution because Cal-Maine is so close to its 52-week high.”
Meadowbrook Insurance (MIG) -- “The stock has potential as a speculation play only. It’s a very small company, so do your homework before you decide to buy.”
Bearish Calls:
VisionChina Media (VISN) -- “Fertilizer is in a world of hurt. I can’t get behind IPI.”
iStar Financial (SFI) -- “This company is high risk. Even down here I don’t trust it.”
