Wachovia (WB) -- “I like CEO Bob Steele, so this stock is a buy.”
PetroBras (PBR) -- “This stock is a buy.”
Bearish Calls:
Continental Resources (CLR) -- “Until oil bottoms, I can’t recommend this stock.”
Leggett & Platt (LEG) -- “Take profits on Leggett & Platt. This stock’s already had a good run.”
BP (BP) -- “Don’t buy the stock.”Ambac (ABK) -- “Unless Fannie Mae (FNM) and Freddie Mac (FRE) are bailed out by the Treasury, I recommend staying on the sidelines when it comes to Ambac.”
