Tonight's show was a repeat of the 1/31/06 special on Top Ten U.S Manufacturers:

Fluor (FLR) -- 'one of the best infrastructure companies on Earth... known for building in dangerous places, and that's why we love the stock'

Cummins (CMI) -- 'the King of Engines... won't be as good in 2007, but in 2006 has the buy-in from the new diesel regulations'

Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) -- 'King of Construction, Mining and Forest Equipment... also a great clean diesel play'

Dow Chemical Company (DOW) -- 'another stinky, dirty company, the best plastics company in the world... also industrial chemicals, the polys, the building blocks of all industry.'

Deere & Company (DE) -- 'agriculture, construction, power, forestry.. anything you need to grow stuff or tear things down.. pimpin' all over the world here, but half of their 46,000 (employees) are still in the U.S.A.'

Boeing Company (BA) -- 'The best aerospace, defense contracting company... biggest exporter in the world... second-biggest defense contractor... right now jet aircraft are in the middle of a seven-year cycle -- that means I'm giving you another three years for BA to be a very hot stock.'

Nucor (NUE) -- 'The best steel producer... also the biggest recycler in the country... none of its plants are unionized!'

United Technologies Corp. (UTX) -- 'the company is all over the place... seven totally distinct businesses and one unified research division... either dominant in each business or high quality -- carriers, helicopters, elevators/moving walkways, aerospace.'

Ingersoll Rand Company (IR) 'support equipment for mining and construction... the industrial stock of industrial stocks... the kind of stuff you have to have when the economy's heating up, must sell it when it cools down -- don't buy and hold IR.'

Toyota Motor (TM) -- 'are you going to tell me Toyota is a Japanese company?! You're missing the point... they're an American manufacturer!... will probably have 100,000 people working for them in the U.S. in the next 15 years, provided they don't change their strategy and start making everything in China... instead of opening plants in Michigan they've been going to the South, where the cost of living is lower and none of the workers are unionized -- because they pay well and give their workers good benefits and job security.... so the next time someone tells you to 'Buy American', buy Toyota, since they are by far the best American auto company!'

There was no lightning round tonight.
