71% of Texas Roadhouse Restaurants (TXRH) Report Wait Time of Less than 15 Minute
The average wait time for a party of two at Texas Roadhouse is five to fifteen minutes, according to 39% of restaurants surveyed in TickerMine's recent poll. Thirty-two percent of restaurants surveyed said there was no wait, while 29% said the wait was over twenty minutes. The average bill for a party of two is $40 or more, according to 48% of restaurants polled. Thirty-six percent said the average tab is between $30 and $35. Steak is the most popular item on the menu, and was the top pick at 29% of Texas Roadhouses. Ribs were the next most popular order, at 23%. Ten percent of restaurants surveyed said hand-battered chicken critters were their top seller.
Lunch is Slower at Ruth's (RUTH) Chris Steak House
Ruth's Chris Steak House restaurants were polled this week. Our researchers asked 22 respondents whether lunch or dinner was busier, how much people spend once there and whether business has spiked or dropped. We found that 20 people or 91% report the dinner shift as busier. Only two people or 9% cited lunch. Only 9% say their location is newer than a year, 91% say theirs is old. Half our respondents, 50%, say parties of two spend $30-$60 per meal. 27% see bills for $75-$100, 23% see bills of $115-$150. And most people, 11 people or 50%, say business is just the same as a year ago. Seven people or 32% say it is busier and 18% say business has dropped.
