Market Responds Well to Bed Bath & Beyond's Earnings

Amid all the credit market ruckus, Bed, Bath & Beyond (BBBY) reported earnings of 46 cents a share Wednesday which was inline with the Street's consensus. For the same quarter last year, the company earned 55 cents a share. (Call Transcript)

The market seems to be responding well to the earnings report. For this quarter, BBBY is expecting earnings-per-share between 41 and 47 cents, compared with last year's 52 cents. The Street is expecting 45 cents.
