Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Monday, September 29.

Bullish Calls:

AeroVironment (AVAV) --“No matter who’s elected president, the unmanned-aircraft bill should see more orders – especially so if Obama wins in November. Buy.”

Bearish Calls:

Genentech (DNA) -- “Sell, sell, sell. Take profits on Genetech. Roche made its bid, and now the trade has passed.”
Visa (V) -- “We I don’t want anything linked to retail. Visa is a don’t buy.”
Mastercard (MS) -- “Mastercard is not as good as Visa. Sell, sell, sell.”
Sony (SNE) -- “Investors don’t want to own a consumer-electronics stock right now. Everybody is doing without. It’s a natural place to sell."
Jacobs Engineering (JEC) -- “All the infrastructure stocks I follow are falling off a cliff. Massive hedge-fund selling in the infrastructure group means JEC cannot be owned right now.”
Blackstone (BX) -- “The last thing I want to own right here is a private equity firm. This is not a sustainable business model for this economy. Sell, sell, sell.”
Harley Davidson (HOG) -- “Don’t be overweighted in that group. This is another discretionary –spending stock. Don’t buy.”

not so fast, looks like Wachovia sold the toxic waste and uncertainties in its banking related subsidiaries and retain the good ones with stockholder preservation, that is an excellent move from Wachovia considering that congress stab the bail out bill. Now Wachovia book value is a lot better than before with practically no debt and good book value.

Crammer is one of the analysts I would NEVER listen to!! Visa has a goal of using their product in every facet of any possible transaction. (credit or debit) With the age of direct deposit people just dont't go to their banks anymore. Debit cards will begin to flow all over the world and become common place in many developing countries. Visa's upside: the sky is the limit. Remember this even if you dont use credit, but you have a debit card, and you dont't have direct deposit and you deposit your payroll check in the atm at your bank, Visa makes money on that transaction! Everytime a card is used, Visa gets its toll, credit or debit!
