AeroVironment (NASDAQ:AVAV) --“No matter who’s elected president, the unmanned-aircraft bill should see more orders – especially so if Obama wins in November. Buy.”
Genentech (Private:DNA) -- “Sell, sell, sell. Take profits on Genetech. Roche made its bid, and now the trade has passed.”
Visa (NYSE:V) -- “We I don’t want anything linked to retail. Visa is a don’t buy.”
Mastercard (NYSE:MS) -- “Mastercard is not as good as Visa. Sell, sell, sell.”
Sony (NYSE:SNE) -- “Investors don’t want to own a consumer-electronics stock right now. Everybody is doing without. It’s a natural place to sell."
Jacobs Engineering (NYSE:JEC) -- “All the infrastructure stocks I follow are falling off a cliff. Massive hedge-fund selling in the infrastructure group means JEC cannot be owned right now.”
Blackstone (NYSE:BX) -- “The last thing I want to own right here is a private equity firm. This is not a sustainable business model for this economy. Sell, sell, sell.”
Harley Davidson (NYSE:HOG) -- “Don’t be overweighted in that group. This is another discretionary –spending stock. Don’t buy.”
