United Technologies (UTX) announced it will increase its quarterly dividend to $0.38.5 per share versus $0.32 per share in the same period last year. The projected payout ratio is 28% based on 2009 estimated earnings of $5.42. This payout compares to the company's 5-year average payout of 26%.
