  • Natural Gas Boom's Top 3 LNG Exporters: 1st Promising Player, Cheniere Energy [View article]
I believe that the stocks' value is showing some of the potential of Cheniere but once the terminals are built and online, the company will have some returns on its massive investments and that should translate in an increased value of the shares.

No, the phrase is a figure of speech, to give the reader an idea of the great potential of gain.

  • LNG Export Race: Chevron Adds A New Discovery In Western Australia [View article]
"The wealth creating potential of Global Gas is likely to exceed that of Global Oil within a decade" is a big statement and a very interesting one. Future will tell but....you're probably right.

  • Natural Gas Prices Rise From Historic Lows: Time To Buy Producer Stocks? [View article]
You are right ephud. What I meant was that only one company can export LNG to non-FTA countries. Several companies can export LNGs to FTA countries but to export elsewhere, they need the appropriate license from the DOE. The process is lengthy because studies are made to ensure that exporting LNG won't impact the need of the country in energy and the environmental issue if a new terminal has to be built as well.

  • Natural Gas Prices Rise From Historic Lows: Time To Buy Producer Stocks? [View article]
Cheniere reduces its exposure to fluctuations in the price, volume, timing, location, quality and credit risk associated with the marketing of LNG and natural gas by using futures, swaps and option contracts traded or cleared on NYMEX and over-the-counter options and swaps with other natural gas merchants and financial institutions.

Thank you Richard. For Chevron, I will answer to your question with a thorough article in the coming days since Chevron is under estimated in that business. For COP, its expertise in LNG is significant and I can't say more for know since this company and Cheniere are going to be analyzed in my coming articles. Please be patient, all your questions should be answered very soon.

For Cheniere, its export terminals are based on LNG only but exporting to countries with natural gas prices with four times higher than the price here, the LNG business is quite attractive. Corpus Christi's terminal will be online only in late 2017. Plenty of time to attract customers once Sabine Pass' terminal in running.

It is a driller and by drilling, it produces crude. I didn't mean SDRL was doing refining. The term producer has to be taken in a broad sense.

  • Gold's Biggest Downfall Since The 1980s: Investors, Don't Panic! [View article]
The drop in the gold price was not a sign of economic confidence returning, but a short-term response by investors. Moreover, the main reason gold prices are falling is that there is speculation that Cyprus may sell its excess gold reserves to fund its debts.

The loose monetary policy of Japan, U.K. and the U.S. as well as huge amounts of QE are storing up problems for the future and are likely to weaken currencies. This could potentially drive up inflation. Gold still provides a safe haven against inflation.

The slowing growth in Asia as well as European economies in struggle (Spain, Italy, Greece and Cyprus) are rather indebted countries and might have to sell some gold to fund its deficits.

My pleasure Mr. Burack. Uncertainty remains strong on the stock market, which explains the recent gold price rise. Producers are in constant battle to reduce its production costs as these are the machinery of war.
