As an MLP, Lehigh pays a distribution, not a dividend.

The key metrics for evaluation of any MLP are: distributable cash flow, the dcf coverage ratio and CAGR. You do not mention any of these!

While Lehigh looks good on the surface the Q1 coverage ratio was only .76x.

When will you be "snapping it up"?

  • 3 Things To Like About Atlantic Power Corporation [View article]
According to Yahoo (which can certainly be wrong) AT is going to lose $.72 this year and about $.55 next year.

This should be enough to result in another dividend cut or no dividend. There are many, many Canadian dividend payers to buy before this one.

You should know enough to check Yahoo's numbers - they are 50-50.

The conpany's website is a good source - ever use it?

    NC-

Well said. NADL is a real dark horse, but competition is quite limited in the harsh weather drilling sector.

You fail to note that the reason for the $4.31 dividend in 2012 was that in December they paid a "double" dividend due to anticipated changes in the tax law for 2013.

While SDRL is certainly a great company, your assessment of how great a buy it is now brings up the question "If it is great now, what was it at $34.

Not a great analysis at all.

  • 4th Strong Quarterly Dividend By American Capital Agency Corp. [View article]
"Recommend a buy and hold for this solid dividend producer."

"The dividend yield has dropped to near 11%, but that is due to the stock price appreciation,"

Where are you getting this stuff?

AGNC has cut the dividend five times since its high of $1.50 in June 2009. The yield has dropped due to dividend cuts, not price appreciation.

    Your information is very misleading.

  • Polski Koncern Naftowy - An Interesting Central European Play [View article]
Very interesting article. Over the past few years it seems like Poland is doing well, and some of their stocks are also.

My one concern here is that, with the exception of Germany, just about all of the countries mentioned are possible targets as Russia reconstitutes the old USSR.

Notice you do not own it - when will you be putting some of your own money into it?
