    Enjoyed the article Daniel.

    Two thoughts:

    1. If by "relative star" you mean "cream of the crap" you are correct.

    2. The .641 distribution did beat the subordinated threshold estimate of .58, but PER has exceeded the subordination threshold every quarter since inception.

My average price paid for PER is in the high 15's, and if it ever gets back there I am out. Much prefer the perpetual trusts.

  • Another Disappointing Jobs Report: Only 113K New Jobs, But The Unemployment Rate Slips To 6.6% [View article]
I believe that "real" unemployment - when counting self-employed and those that have just given up remains well into the double digits. Press never mentions this one.

You missed the fact that NII still is not covering the dividend payout.

Out of PSEC until their NII covers the dividends. Will stick with TCPC and MCC for now.

If it is such a good value, why don't you buy it?

IMO, the BV of both AGNC and NLY have not bottomed, nor have the dividend cuts ended.

Tell your wife not to worry. If you study climatology you will see that from time to time temperatures go up and they go down - sometimes for several years at a time.

Global warming is a figment of the government's vivid imagination.

On the subject of BQR, it holds several interesting positions - particularly water utilities and infrastructure stocks. This is an area of real concern.

  • How To Buy REITs Like Sir John Templeton [View article]
Another great article Brad. Like your investment heroes, but can't understand Trump being on the list.

He did it all with Daddy's money, and, if I am not mistaken has gone bankrupt at least twice. His only claim to being any type of role model would be his hairstyle.

    Chris -

I guess if you turn out to be correct in your assessment I could, at the very least compliment you on your call.
