I was just trying to provide examples of IPOs that soared after and didn't lead to huge losses. I didn't use FB!
I need to do more work on XONE. Do you recall if the IPO was shares sold by the company, insiders or a PE firm looking to exit?

I have a question for you about your valuation. While I might quibble over the exact multiples you are using, where I really see an issue is that you appear not to include corporate overhead. You have assigned valuations to the three segments but have omitted the unallocated portion. It's rather substantial - $18mm of operating income in 2012 (FY13) and over $19mm of EBITDA. Is this an oversight, or did I not understand your analysis?

Also, your 15PE seems quite low considering the growth, and I would add that it isn't rational to talk down a successful IPO by warning people about the IPO price as if it had real meaning. Companies will often sell a small piece at a low price to create a favorable tape. Should we short WDAY or PANW? Maybe so! That's not the point though...
By the way, the IPO priced at $18.
