    Walt17, I understand the discretionary nature, but I believe that a lot of deferrals have taken place already given the high gas prices this year. Many have already experienced down y-o-y sales, some of significance. When I look at SCVL, for instance, I realize that shoes do wear out. Children's feet grow, etc. A vacation or a meal out are truly discretionary, but shoes???
