MicroCaps.com was founded on the emphasis to provide 100% Independent Research to investors. We have two subscription products focused on finding undiscovered NanoCap and MicroCap Ideas. Then we have an Ala Carte Due Diligence product that digs deeper for hedge fund managers since many of them don't have the time to do so. We also have an active investor blog where passionate analysts contribute content to build their reputations within the marketplace.
I reside in the greater Detroit area. During the winter you will find me on the mountain chasing the fresh powder.
My real name is Frederick Bruckman. ("Paimon" is depicted in the Ars Goetia as a "King of Hell" and expert in the mysteries of the mind--but is also a truly awful pun.) I've completed a B.A. in Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, "class of 2013" (enrolled 1989-2012!). I try to buy stocks that are making new highs.
I have a Masters degree in International Finance and Economics from Brandeis University. I also have a BS in Managerial Economics and a BA in Spanish.
I am primarily interested in finding arbitrage opportunities, or deep value situations. I would consider myself macro driven with an emphasis on fundamentals.
Looking for overreactions in the market intrigues me, and I think these provide investors with the potential for above average market returns.
Hopefully through contributing on Seeking Alpha I can hone my skills and learn from other's comments.

I am a retiree who spends about 1-3 hours a day researching Equities. My retirement is solid enough that my trading account is mainly a hobby separate from my retirement. (I label myself more "Trader" than investor) I also spent a long career in Medicine, with experience running multi-million dollar revenue businesses, so know considerable about the medical field, it's needs and problems. Retired on investments (and Combat Disabilities)at age 46. More than 40 years of investing. I also did Medical Research, so researching is ingrained.
