    While the numbers may currently resemble the '73-'75 period more than the 30s, thanks primarily to an unprecedented program of quantitative monetary easing, I think the 30s more closely resemble the long-term problems we face today. And while I believe a cyclical bull market commenced in March, I don't see it carrying to new highs or lasting very long in the U.S.

  • German Subsidy Fears Trigger Solar Downgrades [View article]
    Growth in demand for solar energy is inexorable well into the future. It is arguably the best long-term growth story around and offers stocks that have extremely attractive PEG ratios. Yesterday's madness was a great buying opportunity, dropping stocks such as TSL, YGE and SOL into technical support areas.
