Amit Kumar is an avid individual investor and a buy-side equity analyst(generalist) covering financials, TMT, energy, and consumer sectors. Most recently, he was an Assistant Vice President at Swiss Re Asset Management. He is greatly influenced by value investing philosophies of Graham/ Dodd and Warren Buffett. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Technology Degree at IT-BHU in India. He is also a CFA charter holder. Prior to Swiss Re, Amit has worked over 10 years in the US and India as an analyst and consultant for Bayes Capital, AT Kearney, IBM, CDI, and Tata Consultancy.
