  • Watch Out Amazon, The iPad 2 Is Now Just $399 [View article]
Since the iPad is still twice as expensive as the Kindle, I do not see it as a threat to Amazon.

  • Apple Has Already Won The Tablet Market [View article]
The iPad is far outmatched by the Surface in the business market. The Surface is far better for productivity: it has a keyboard, office support, and true multi-tasking capabilities. That being said, the iPad has been, and will continue to be, a runaway hit in the consumer market.

  • 28 Big Reasons Apple Will Fall: A Rebuttal [View article]
I think the one concern is the lack of innovation post-Jobs, but with dramatically increased R&D spending there is little likelihood of that.

  • Apple: Content Would Complement iTunes, iTV [View article]
Apple has no need to create exclusive content, it already has a dedicated fan-base. Producing content is just an unnecessary risk.

  • Apple: Content Would Complement iTunes, iTV [View article]

  • Will The iPad Mini Help To Expand The 7" Tablet Market? [View article]
I do not believe the iPad mini will be a hit. It is significantly more expensive than other tablets its size. The point of the 7" tablet market is to provide bargain-priced tablets, but in no way is the iPad mini a bargain.

  • Will iPads Replace Textbooks In K-12 Classrooms? [View article]
If anything, I believe it would be the Nook. The Nook is a e-reading centered tablet whereas the versatile iPad could provide distractions for students.

The iPad mini is a prime example of Apple playing "catch-up." In no way is it innovative.

  • Why Apple Is Still A 'Don't Buy' [View article]
Without Job's, as proven by the iPad Mini and Apple Map's, Apple has had trouble innovating. Until Cook is able to prove himself, I would stay away from Apple.

  • Is This The End Of Apple's Run? [View article]
As seen by Apple maps and iPad mini, Apple is not nearly as innovative without Jobs. For that reason, Apple needs to count on existing ventures for its future profitability.

  • Major Cannibalization Concerns At Apple [View article]
Apple's upside seems to be based solely upon its existing product lines. For that reason, it is unrealistic to expect significant growth.
