    Some strong predictions here. Here's where I have a different viewpoint. I don't China's growth will slow to 2% (more like 6%) and civil unrest is unlikely as the government will keep spending its vast cash reserves. I also think the Obama administration will be more active than you have suggested.

    Things have just gotten worse as 2008 comes to an end. Despite a december bounce, we will finish at record lows all over the world.
