  • Last Call For Vietnam: Buy Now Or Be Sorry [View article]
Thanks man for this write-up. Vietnam equities have been trading at ridiculous low valuations ever. And i consider these are great opportunities for long-term and value investors. Of course, investors need to pick stocks carefully for good, sustainable businesses with cheap prices.

  • Intel: The Downgrade Is Already Reflected In The Current Valuation [View article]
That's true. the 4% dividend is already nice enough. Investors should be long-term, this year results might look not as promising, but for sure, this price is cheap for long-term results.

  • Cisco: A Compelling Buy Now For Various Reasons [View article]
In investing, only time (around 5-10 years) can answer whether it's right or wrong. And there's no sure thing in investment. That is why investors need to diversify their portfolio basket in a sense. Buffett bought American Express at the valuation of $80 million, and saw it keep dropping for a year or so.

  • Cisco: A Compelling Buy Now For Various Reasons [View article]
Psychologically, everybody wants the stock to go up right after they buy it. But the majority of the time I bought stocks, it went down, then it rose back up significantly. It requires patience though. I am value investor myself so the time horizon is 3-5 years on average, unless the stock reaches its estimated intrinsic value.

Congrats on your buy!. That is true, they are building up their intrinsic value over time.

Timing is everything but it's quite hard to make the timing right. in the short-run, it might be volatile, but in the long-run, if Cisco keeps building up their real value, the stock price will eventually follow.

And thanks for your kind words, Tony.

Anand. You can have a look at Berkshire Hathaway's original SEC filing 13F (file quarterly), it is to show Berkshire Hathaway's stock holdings in a quarter.
Here is the first quarter filings which still have Intel in the portfolio:
    http://1.usa.gov/KidbDY

Here is the second quarter: http://1.usa.gov/OFSqYG (Intel is not in the portfolio anymore)

In addition, I think there are lots of news coverage that follows this filing of Berkshire Hathaway.

Gurufocus.com is the website which is doing great job in following investment gurus including Warren Buffett: http://bit.ly/PIXc2Y

Totally agree with you on this. It is all 'bout management. And history has shown that. Glitch gives investors to accumulate shares at undervalued price.

Great to hear that you are all in at $15, congrats on that. True that it is the income generator for investors as well. If you don't mind, please let me know your annualized gain for your Intel position over the last 20 years.
