Thanks J-F. I don't exactly like high payout ratios. To me it seems like a company living beyond its means and eventually having to decrease that payout ratio if an emergency came along. EPD's PR is 93%, but they are so established and consistent that I can't be too concerned right now about that. Especially considering their upcoming ATEX project. I like PEG's a lot more at 57%. Gives some room for improvement and shows that it's 7% more concerned about the pockets of its investors, than its own pocket. Thanks for reading.

  • Best Buy: Look Out Below ... Accelerated Free Fall Looming [View article]
I can see how you could assume a short considering the increase in share price was due to a potential buyout, but your work is incomplete. That would be impulsively trading. The stock would have fallen already from the news of the buyout not occurring, so that says people are holding on optimistically for other reasons besides your proposed buyout theory. I've held BBY since $11, and that's based on its underlying fundamentals. $12 share projection is a bit erratic.

  • Why Shorting Stocks Is The Worst Investment Strategy Ever [View article]
The title should be seriously changed. Maybe "Risks associated with short-selling." Your concern of substantial losses applies for both short selling and regular investing. But, in any case, if any individual has loss "substantial" money, then they should fire their broker, or stop trading all together because they have a problem.

The rude and defensive comments must come from people who possess their own insecurities about the stock. It's an article wrote to offer investment >advice<. Never once did he say: "You should short the stock."

If you've so much conviction in the prospects of the company, write a rebuttal article, and we'll evaluate your work with the same disrespect you evaluated this one.

Funny how the variant views and negative factors come out when the comments are coming from people other than the employees.

Lol. Ok Superman. Why don't you also start a strike against CNBC and Jim Cramer for when they wrongfully analyze a company. If everyone was 100% right all the time, then what would be the point in investing...you have no idea how bad you are making yourself look to this community by criticizing someone's hard work. Especially when you have no track record of yourself. "Don't complain about the outcome, when you didn't vote yourself."

All the time you've spent here Lumia you could have written your own article lol...you seem adamant on giving criticism so harshly. No one likes a "na na na boo boo I told you." Press on.

    abuzz,

If you speak of negativity towards a company, regardless of facts, the employees are relentlessly adamant and naive about any other possibility besides their company never faltering. No reason in arguing with a teenager that a credit card could be bad for them in the long-term. Something I've learned.
