Since 1995, Archman's self managed portfolio has only had two losing years. 2002: 3% loss. 2008: 15% loss. He does not claim to be wealthy or otherwise. He just does the best he can to enjoy life and prepare for the future. Archman makes no claims about being smarter than anyone around here, nor having any mastery of the English language. If only he could have received multiple degrees from those high level universities, and had the backing of mom and dad to supplement his short comings (and pass it all off as his own doing), he too could sound ever so important on the internet. There are times in our lives when we feel superior to others, wether from education, wealth, etc. However, a day will come when they are lowering you into the ground and tossing the dirt over you.
