    • Austin Craig: how much and do you like it?
      12/6/12
    • Ashraf Eassa: I just ordered it from the Google Play store. $227 after taxes + shipping...

    • Sam Liu: My brother-in-law bought the acer Iconia last year, and my friend bought a Samsung smart phone-- the latter 2 much more satisfied with IPad4

    • Sal Marvasti: Ashraf, do you buy things because you own their stock ?

    • Sal Marvasti: if you just wanted to test your game you could get a $100 android 4.1 tablet with generic arm cpu too :)

    • Ashraf Eassa: $100 tablets are usually Cortex A8 based with 512GB of RAM. For $100 extra, I can get a 4 core Cortex A9 + 1GB of RAM.

    • Ashraf Eassa: So buying something for $100 but is as fast as my old phone made no sense.

    • Whitehawk: Do you plan to root the device and install your own ROM or keep the factory load? BTW I found ES File Explorer very useful.
      12/6/12
    • Ashraf Eassa: Just factory load...I just wanted a decently fast device to use for testing my apps :-)

    • anonymous1111: Not Nexus 10? If I were buying an Android tab I don't think I could turn own 2560x1600.

    • Ashraf Eassa: $399 v.s. $199 made my choice easy. Especially since Far Cry 3 is making me itch to pick up a 2nd GTX 680...
      12/6/12
    • anonymous1111: Yes 2nd GTX 680 comes first
      12/6/12
    • Ashraf Eassa: Exactly :-)

    • Sal Marvasti: ahh, good luck that thing would be a power monster. Eliminating the so called power effeciency in your Intel chip.
      12/7/12
    • Sal Marvasti: I think you have a single monitor setup. 680 should be ore than good enough. I have a triple monitors and everything I have works well.

    • Ashraf Eassa: Salman - do you deny that my 2600K is extremely power efficient? Sucks down less power than a stock 8350 ;-)
      12/7/12
    • anonymous1111: I can't say I'm power efficient with me OCed 3930k haha.

    • Ashraf Eassa: Still beating a Bulldozer or Piledriver, anonymous111...

    • anonymous1111: If my goal were to beat AMD I might never have to upgrade again haha.
      12/7/12
    • Ashraf Eassa: It's really sad, but probably true. AMD can't continue to compete with Intel in the high end if it is to survive. I think MGMT realizes this
