    • Grand Nagus Kelly: You put your money where your mouth is. I respect you for that Ashraf.

    • Sal Marvasti: sounds ok, but I would wait for next guidance before delving in. Unless you are convinced technically the intel buy back will be stronger

    • Sal Marvasti: than institutionals selling out. I am not convinced intel wants to or needs to try to kill AMD. Intel is like apple. They want premium.
      12/28/12
    • Sal Marvasti: They are not interested in commodity semiconductors. AMD is, it needs to be to survive. Huge difference.

    • Ashraf Eassa: Sal - I am long Intel because I fundamentally believe it is worth $29+. I can set and forget because of the great dividend.

    • Sal Marvasti: sounds like a good plan :) But its not a get rich quick one :)

    • bd4uandu: I thought you were looking at $T or $QCOM like a kid in a candy store.
      12/28/12
    • Ashraf Eassa: Not at all :) I see Intel at these levels as a safe place to park my money until the growth resumes (remember Intel grew 23% last yr!)

    • Sal Marvasti: something in my gut looks for danger, I have intel, but its too safe for my taste. I want the ferrari :)

    • bd4uandu: Yes it's at good levels ....but what about the cliff??? Aren't you afraid of the cliff???
      12/28/12
    • Sal Marvasti: The cliff is man made. Enough said.
      12/28/12
    • bd4uandu: Yes, but it's sure bringing things down to attractive levels. I just hope earnings will support it.
      12/28/12
    • Ashraf Eassa: The cliff needs to be resolved. And it will be resolved. I made a LOT of money buying during the "OMG US IS GONNA DEFAULT"...

    • barleycapital: America is still the greatest nation on earth (and I speak as a Brit) so I'm certain it will be resolved...at the last minute!

    • bd4uandu: Went long $INTC @ 20.31 $29 huh?

    • Julius Ferraro: Ashraf, were you trading august 2011? It was one of the worst times of my life. The omg default pullbacks are only fun at first
      12/28/12
    • Ashraf Eassa: Yes, back then I bought $INTC like crazy.
      12/28/12
    • Ashraf Eassa: (among other things, but $INTC was my highest conviction)
