Thanks for the article. I am new to the name. The result caught my eye given signs of what could be a turnaround in a company who's stock is (correct me if I'm wrong) trading well below 1X price-to-book. These types of situations can often be quite rewarding (if this is indeed one of those situations). Obviously the market's initial reaction to the profit miss on one-time expenses also made little sense and smelled of opportunity.
Leland Wykoff great comments as you've rightly pointed out one of the points detracting from the case for this being a potential turnaround. FYI on the conference call management said that the ad spend did drive an increase in traffic, but that their decision to reduce coupons in issuance partly offset the positive impact. The net result, however, is that the "quality" of the traffic has improved dramatically and the evidence is in the margin enhancement. You rightly point out, however, that if this is the case then their guidance could have been a bit more upbeat given the planned increase in future ad spend .

Thanks for the feedback internetmarketer. I am based in Asia where there are still no Lululemon stores despite the presence of a sizeable affluent yoga culture. I have only seen Ivivva's offering online and I agree that it looks promising. Thankfully I only have sons that have no interest in expensive clothing :)
