Avi Cohen is the Head of Research and Managing Partner of Avian Securities, LLC. Avian is an independent brokerage research boutique with offices in Boston and New York, specializing in delivering proprietary technology research to institutional investors. Avian's methodology provides some of the most influential tech investors with critical real-time channel information and longer-term investment strategies. Avian Securities also offers quality execution services with a focus on the anonymity of our institutional clients and their investment decisions.

Prior to founding Avian Securities, Mr. Cohen was a partner with MJM Partners, a technology-focused hedge fund. Before joining MJM Partners, Mr. Cohen managed the Domestic U.S.-Listed Option Customer Facilitation Book at Kidder Peabody & Co.

Mr. Cohen is a graduate of the University of Chicago, where he studied Theoretical Mathematics and Economics.
