  • A Young Commander Making His Mark In The Middle East May Be Trouble For Markets And Bullish For Gold [View article]
OOHHH . . btw - gold will likely be going up anyway . . and it will likely make people feel more bullish than they have in a VERY long time . . it will likely be VERY strong move up . .. and everyone will again be convinced that the bottom is in . .. and that will set up the FINAL decline into later this year.

Hi Hebba. Honest question . .. has any "conflict" over the last 3 years had a REAL affect upon gold? I think we both know the answer. The question is why should one think this one is different? Is this time really different?

Remember, wait for the final bottom, then you will see fireworks . . until then, this is all noise.

  • Lean Gold Vs. Fat Dollar - Guess Which Wins The Geopolitical Capital Flight Fight [View article]
Put out a number of articles over the last few months talking about a paradigm change which many are not prepared. Inter-market analysts have been CRUSHED of late because of it.

Gel . . you know me . . reasons don't float my boat . . charts and making money do!! :) And, shorting the dollar here for anything other than a quick trade (91/92DXY) is not going to make you money!! :)

I just don't get it. For the last several years, all I have heard is that the dollar is going to collapse so "buy gold." Now, it seems the intellectually dishonest among the analyst community have morphed to "buy gold because the dollar is strong." Excuse me while I scratch my head in wonderment. Seems very few have a clue.

  • Will The Fed Spike The Gold Price? [View article]
Thanks Marc. But, again, I am not going to list out those sites out of respect for Ben. The directional analysis articles are usually delayed by 2-3 days on all the other sites, since my subscribers at my site get the real time analysis.

Hey Ninja. When SA terminated our relationship, I was approached by many other metals sites that have asked to carry out work - but most of it will be delayed publications. In fact, one of my new articles just came out on another metals site .. but out of respect for Ben, I am not linking it here. So, I am still "around," but in delayed fashion most of the time, relative to my subscribers.

The only issue is publishing for SA has just gotten to be so difficult for me, and it does not sound like the editors really appreciate my perspective, as they deem it too technical. They want me to provide the same "stuff" everyone else on SA does. The only problem is that it has led people the wrong way for years. But, it is what it is. I guess SA may not be interested in true "alpha," and is interested in mediocrity, at best.

Yes, the more things that change the more they stay the same. While many of you have been looking long from much higher levels, we were looking for much lower levels from which to get long. But, the one thing that I have come back to see is that there is much more desire to discuss fundamentals, than to be on the correct side of the market by many on SA. I would imagine that is why the same drivel is proffered by the analysts (other than Ben and Doug), and eaten up by the masses.

This hiatus was really good for me, and likely for the best. Good luck folks.

Patrick, you would be amazed at how well it works in stocks. We actually had to develop a "Stockwaves" service to cover all the stocks people were interested in for using EW.
