Ben Holdsworth has an MBA and an MA. Following a career in strategic planning and business development, he is currently researching and writing a PhD at the University of Durham, UK. His experience in corporate planning, business strategy and consulting, plus a life long interest in geo-politics and economics, shape his investment views and interests.
Ben has been an investor since 1985 and holds a mix of U.S. and international funds and stocks. He practices a mixed investment style of short term holdings and long term value investments. When a company draws his attention he prefers to engage in in-depth analysis of the company, its industry, market, and long term potential. He is currently focused on small growth companies in Southeastern Europe, China, and India, which may represent potential long term value and not-yet-drawn significant investment community attention.
When not engaged in research or investing, Ben walks with his wife and feeds scraps to local allotment chickens.
