It is the same concept as RevPAR (revenue per available room which is a common metric for hotels), the metric is calculated by multiplying occupancy by rental rate which captures the true earnings power of a business such as an industrial REIT or hotel REIT, if you know a better term that is specific to industrial leasing please share.
