ABOUT
Benjamin is Principal and Chief Investment Officer for Guidance Point Retirement Services and a Financial Advisor for Guidance Point Advisors. His primary responsibilities include overseeing the investment process for the institutional and retirement plan clients served by Guidance Point Retirement Services. Benjamin also oversees client portfolios on a discretionary basis for Guidance Point Advisors.
Prior to working for Guidance Point Retirement Services and Guidance Point Advisors, Ben worked for Acadia Trust, N.A., a subsidiary of Camden National Corporation, as Vice President, Portfolio Manager based in Bangor, Maine. Ben assumed responsibility for and oversight of over $300 million in client portfolios, ...More including individuals, families, retirement plans, endowments, foundations, businesses, and trusts; and he served on the Company’s Investment Committee.
Ben earned a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. He earned his MBA from the University of Maine, was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2011 and is a member of the Maine CFA Society and the CFA Institute. Ben was named the 2006 Camden National Corporation Employee of the Year and received the Lorrayne Carroll Award for outstanding leadership in adult literacy within the State of Maine in 2008.
