Got 2 big articles for Monday. One on $AAPL. One on $PM and the cigarette names. Any other large cap suggestions?

    • AlphaNeria: It's not a large cap but how about SODA? You've covered it before, and the stock price has moved a lot since the last earnings report.

    • Bill Maurer: $V might be an interesting one to look at.

    • Bill Maurer: As for $SODA, revenues missed, margins will be squeezed. I've been a fan around $50 but was in favor of shorting it at $80.
      11/1/13
    • Bill Maurer: Everyone has been accustomed to $SODA beating on both fronts and raising guidance. They didn't do that here. Same as Aug '11.

    • Bill Maurer: Then, it lost 50% in two weeks, but it wasn't as mature of a company. At $50 I'd look again, but EPS estimates are coming down.

    • Bill Maurer: $BTI is hard to do. Used to do it, but without a large amount of analyst data and a non-standard dividend, comparisons don't quite fit.

    • jsteinm1: I would be interested in $V. Or do you cover defense/aero? $LMT $RTN $BA $GD
      11/1/13
    • Bill Maurer: Don't do defense/aero at the moment.
