Now deputy editor at Conde Nast Portfolio, Blaise was managing editor of Wired from 2002 until he helped launch Portolio starting in 2006. He was Portfolio's managing editor during its launch phase. Before Wired, he was editor of Red Herring. Blaise knows just about everybody who's anybody in tech. He's based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Zerega makes frequent media appearances and has been on such programs as Today and The View as well as on NPR and CNN.

He graduated from New York University and received his graduate degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
