CRTs vs/ LCDs - "better" is a relative term.

I agree with the author, CRT TVs have a better picture. The difference is that LCDs are better since they take up less room and are more convenient/fashionable. Could you imaging trying to put that 36" CRT in a Manhattan apartment? By contrast, an LCD TV would like quite nice on the wall.

OLEDs sound great. How long do you figure it will be until they are available to the masses at reasonable prices?
