I am a PhD student. My primary research lies in the area of political economy, often with a financial focus. In the area of finance, I am especially interested in stock price determination, financial crises, corporate governance, and theories of innovation. I have been investing for three years in an individual capacity, and have become increasingly curious about the stock market. I mostly invest in equities with a mid- to long-term horizon. Sometimes I use options. I look for either deeply undervalued stocks or stocks that offer growth at a low price. I care very much about quality of management in both cases, but especially for growth stocks. I focus on only a few equities at any given time, but am always on the lookout for great opportunities.
