Rochelle, nice write-up and good overview (I am new to HOS). Do you know how much it costs to idle a vessel (and then un-idle it assuming oil prices rebound)? I imagine it's not much but just wanted to make sure I'm being conservative.

Also, what is the break-even oil price for their customers in the Gulf of Mexico?

Was wondering if you saw the latest 3 open-market transactions by 2 insiders at around $75-$81...I realize they're not uber-recent but did that factor into your decision?

Nice, but why would you completely gloss over the insider buying that's been going on ever since the stock nosedived?

I realize that Elon Musk is really the only insider you should follow here but I can't help but focus on a couple of significant sales by the CEO. He sold 160K shares outright and exercised options that were due to expire in 2019.

"For current shareholders, continuing to hold the stock makes sense especially if one has already recouped their original investment. For potential investors, a shrewd approach would be to build a position via routine market pullbacks."

There should be no difference in action if you are a new or existing shareholder. Existing shareholders should always ask "If I didn't own this stock already, would I buy it today". If the answer is "No" then they shouldn't be in the stock.

I've also noticed a big pickup in insider selling above $30 or so...It seems they like to sell at anything above $30.

Very nice write-up. If the insider transactions tell you anything here they also tell you to sell:

Ever since the stock plunge insiders have stopped selling stock...they haven't necessarily been buying but I still think it says a lot.

Any idea on what RLOC plans to do w/ the cash? I really don't like that term "balance sheet flexibility" in combination with a "focus on higher margin products". To me that just screams that they are going to waste all their cash on acquisitions. Maybe that's just me.

Also, why are their margins so much lower than their competitors?

Does RLOC require executives/directors to own a certain number of shares? I took a quick look at their proxy but didn't see anything. That could explain why she is the only one buying.....

What gives you confidence that the future PE will keep in-line with the 10-yr average? Growth is slowing down for them, no? Last year's sales growth was closer to 9% vs. the 29% you have above. A similar trend can be seen for EBITDA & EPS.

It's also interesting that no insider has sold stock since the beginning of the year. But both Schlosberg and Sacks recently implemented new 10b5-1 plans in December and they've had large gaps between selling in the past:

In some cases, yes. In this case the insiders are clearly price sensitive and that does tell you something.
