Brian Johnson is a proprietary trader in options, futures, stocks, and ETFs. He is also the editor and primary author for www.TraderEdge.Net, a blog offering insights and information to help other traders.
Previously, he was the vice president and principal responsible for Lincoln Capital Management’s fixed income index business. At Lincoln Capital, he created specialized risk control and valuation algorithms and used those tools to manage over $13 billion in institutional assets.
He also served as the President of Carolina Capital Advisors, where he developed neural network forecasting, risk management, and valuation systems for institutional investment advisors.
More recently, he designed and taught courses in financial derivatives for both MBA and undergraduate business programs. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago - Booth School of Business, with a specialization in finance.
He has written articles for the Financial Analysts Journal, Active Trader Magazine, and a number of other publications.
