Brian Kelly is Founder and CEO of Kanundrum Capital a private investment company and research boutique focused on providing investment insight to instividual investors. He is the editor and publisher of The Surf Report, a daily investment newsletter where he uses his 15 years trading experience to identify the game changing events which set off the successive waves of investor enthusiasm and panic. Everyday, The Surf Report surveys 80 financial markets and finds the opportunities where the fundamentals and technicals conspire to produce profitable investment opportunities.

Brian can be seen as a regular guest on CNBC's Fast Money and Squawk on the Street.

Prior to founding Kanundrum Capital, Brian was a co-founder of MKM Partners.

He received his BS in Finance from the University of Vermont, while also being able “squeeze-in” at least 3 days of skiing per week. After a year in the real world, making cold calls as a retail stockbroker, he decided to retreat to the safety of academia and received his MBA from Babson Graduate School of Business.

Then back to the real world again, where he spent the next 10 years trading equities for pension funds, mutual funds and hedge funds. He specialized in risk arbitrage, pairs trading and relative value strategies.

He is the author of Blowing Bubbles: How to Identify and Profit from Market Bubbles and he publishes the blog “Perception is Reality”.

What the future holds is unknowable, but hopefully he will still be able to “squeeze-in” some time on the slopes.
