    Here are 2 facts for you:

    1.CO2 is a green house gas (traps heat)
    2.The burning of fossil fuels releases a lot of CO2 into the atmosphere

    No scientists that I know disputes either of the above

    So ,,, it is only logical to at least suspect that fossil fuel burning contributes to a warming earth (as evidenced by the melting of glaciers and arctic ice).
