As a private investor and student of human psychology with a background in financial control and industrial finance, and a resume that spans from a tour of duty with a Marine Infantry Battalion in Vietnam, to driving taxis and working on an auto assembly line, my investment strategy is to avoid parochial thinking and to attempt to apply a balanced approach to stock market investing. For me the Yin and Yang of investing involves tempering technical analysis with fundamental analysis. While I am by temperament a swing trader, I also subscribe to buying and holding value.
