Trichet, ECB Missing the Point with Crude

The world is not obligated to cater to U.S. needs. The ECB has one goal and that's to keep prices under control, and it's very refreshing to see that they stick to what they're supposed to do as opposed to cater to individual interest groups. Also, either you root for free market or for intervention, but you can't praise free markets and then try to advocate for government subsidies for America and bash subsidies in other countries. Again, the world was not created to satisfy America's wants.
