  • How My Top 10 Stocks for 2010 Performed [View article]
    Lightway,

I did some research and found that the increase in share price and possibly insider buying is from a new acquisition.

New article up on the subject: http://seekingalpha.co...

    Thanks for following.

Rest in Peace Steve Jobs. As a young investor it is great to know that I was fortunate to live in a time with a great inventor, entrepreneur and innovator. His influence on Apple and Disney stock will continue through my lifetime. Thanks for your hard work and brilliant mind.

Corning (GLW) is a great play still, especially with its Gorilla Glass technology. In the shift to tablets and smartphones the companies who can bring something new and cheap to the market will flourish. Case New Holland is trading at low values right now in the booming agriculture market. It is hard to believe that shares are trading for less than $40 a share. The company stands to benefit from the emerging market farming boom. The company with a smaller market cap than a Deere or Caterpillar doesn't have to grow too much to bring value to its shares.

Some large companies suffer these declines in different years. I have witnessed this with large names like CSCO, MSFT, GM, F, and others. I strongly believe that while CSCO is not the growth stock it used to be it still represents great value with its large market share in several technology areas.

  • A Mid-Year Look at Top Ten Stocks for 2011 [View article]
Thanks Lightway for recognizing my 2009 and 2010 returns from my lists on seeking alpha. It would be nice to finish in the black this year to keep this streak alive. I write on this site to help people invest and share my overall opinions. I am not a professional analyst and work a full time job. This website gives me an outlet to share with a large market. It is always nice to receive comments about people making money off of picks I have recommended.

    As for MSG:

I do like the stock a lot, however at current levels and news I would pass. The NBA lockout seems more likely to take place next year cutting into revenue needed by the company to continue to grow and pay off remodeling costs of the stadium. The stock is likely to see a sharp decline soon. I would be a buyer once it settles around the $22 range. The stock will represent great value on the way back up once a lockout has passed.

    Thanks again.

Thank you for the kind words. I am glad to hear that you bought some DNDN. Do you still own any shares? I have some shares, although I did not buy them at the time of my original recommendation.

I want to thank you for your kind words. I am currently working on a writeup for 2011 and a review of 2010 once the year comes to a close. I have been busy with my day job but will be reworking my blog for the new year and more active in stock recommendations and writeups.

Leapfrog was one of my top ten stock picks for 2013. The stock ended up being a loser on the year and still trades down from where I think it should be. Company is a play on international expansion, acquisition, and new products. The company needs another hit, but with prices this low might make a great target for Hasbro or Mattel.
